Academician Zhang GAIPING, general consultant

He is the president of Henan Agricultural University and vice chairman of Henan science and Technology Association. He was elected academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2009. He is an expert in animal immunology and immunomembrane chromatography, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering (Ministry of Agriculture), doctoral supervisor, and consultant expert of life science department of NSFC. He received his doctorate in cell and molecular immunology from Hart University in 1993. He is now a researcher of Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He has been engaged in the research on the pathogenic mechanism of animal virus, rapid monitoring technology of major animal diseases and rapid detection technology of food safety.

Academician Zhang GAIPING took the lead in establishing the rapid detection technology system of immune test paper, which provided technical support for the rapid detection of major animal diseases and animal derived food safety in China; systematically carried out the research on Fc receptor of animal immunoglobulin, which provided new ideas and new methods for the prevention and control of major animal diseases and drug development of human autoimmune diseases; and carried out the research on immune recognition of animal viruses In this study, we established an animal virus immunohistochemical research platform and drew the B cell recognition map of major animal virus proteins. He has won the second prize of the National Technological Invention Award and the second prize of the national science and technology progress award, two first prizes of the provincial science and technology progress award, 17 patents, and published more than 200 research papers, which were cited by famous journals such as science for many times. He was invited by Humana publishing group of the United States to write immunochromatographic horizontal flow strip for biosensors and biodetection Tests, this is the first time that the technology has been officially listed in the scientific research and teaching reference books.
