He is currently the director of the national human development program (2001) and the first member of the national human development program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences He is also an honorary professor of Massey University in New Zealand, and an international member of grafida University of New Zealand. He is proficient in the basic theory and technology of molecular biology, molecular genetics, bioengineering and immune genetics, and is familiar with the research and development and pilot test of pharmacogenomics, cell engineering, tissue engineering and diagnostic reagents, and is now an expert in the evaluation of major national projects.
